A clean white-and-greige base over warm wood-tone flooring, with a single vivid red-and-electric-blue canvas as the lone accent and brushed-bronze wall discs for a soft metallic glow.

Materials

A light-grey woven sectional, a glass-topped black metal coffee table with a wood-and-brass nesting table, a wood-fronted breakfast bar under a pale quartz-look worktop with upholstered stools, bronze puck wall lights and large-format wood-look porcelain plank tile.

Sectioning

An open living-and-kitchen strip: the L-sofa wraps the corner and faces the framed canvas on the solid wall, layered nesting tables sit at its centre, and a peninsula breakfast bar with stools closes the room and links it to the kitchen beyond.
