Garden Reading Nook
A quiet reading corner carved from a larger room, where two boxy armchairs gather beside a full-height glazed door that opens onto garden foliage. Daylight is filtered through a floor-length sheer, and the palette stays deliberately spare so the green outside does the talking.
- Location
- Ashrafieh, Lebanon
- Year
- 2026
- Palette
- Warm terracotta and rust seating with a single mustard accent, set against off-white walls and a cool pale-grey stone floor; living green from the garden beyond the glass.
- Materials
- Woven terracotta upholstery, slim powder-coated black metal legs and side-table frame, a pale stone or laminate table top, large-format grey porcelain or stone tile, a sheer linen-look curtain and aluminium-framed glazing.
- Sectioning
- A single intimate nook clustered around one small table; the glazed wall and its drape form a soft luminous edge, with generous blank wall left to keep the corner calm.
